It’s okay, just a flesh wound

(Finger belongs to the Escalade driver that even though I honked as I was passing him, he still changed lanes into me and I clipped his trailer, rather than the curb)

Bumper scuffed and scraped, corner light even MORE broken, fender scratched and pushed in, tire has a small scuff and the wheel has scratches.

But its okay, like I said. I mended it.

Guy was exiting the freeway onto a 35mph road going 20 in the right lane. I signaled and passed on the left, going 40. He STOPPED HIS LANE CHANGE, LOOKED IN HIS MIRROR, and KEPT ON CHANGING LANES INTO ME. All on dashcam. His face, plain as day in the mirror, watching me hit his dumb ass.

Then, while we’re exchanging info, he says “When I hear a horn behind me I don’t give a shit”.

Oh, and he also had no insurance card, can’t keep track of “all his vehicles” because he runs an insulation company, and wasn’t even sure if the ‘Slade was personal or business insured.

I could give two shits about my damage, honestly. And if he wants to file a claim for a scratched fender on his trailer, so be it. That’s when the dashcam footage comes in handy.

My ex wounded a Camry also - nearly new ‘88 wagon 5M - centerpunched a deer. I thought it was terminal, but the dealership (I knew a guy) made it better than new - I swear the cutlines in the hood were straighter than before.

That’s OK. Now, take a sharpie and color in the duck tape so less visible. And post pic of after it will look better. Probably. If not just peel it off and re-silver.

If you’d have turned into him, you might’ve been able to PIT maneuver him. It would’ve looked awesome on the dash cam, and when he went “Brah, what the fuck bro?” you could just claim you panicked.
